The Dubai ACM Chapter is convened by Prof. Elakkiya R, an Assistant Professor in Computer Science Department at BITS Pilani Dubai Campus and is supported by a strong leadership team focused on growing a thriving ecosystem of computing professionals in the UAE. Our leadership brings together expertise across diverse domains, fostering a dynamic environment for learning, innovation, and professional growth.

The Dubai ACM Community represents a unified effort to promote computing knowledge, research, and professional development across the UAE. Comprising both the ACM Professional Chapter and the ACM-W Chapter, our community stands on the pillars of academic excellence, inclusion, and innovation.

We are proudly affiliated with the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) — the world’s largest scientific and educational computing society — and strive to deliver high-impact events, meaningful mentorship, and collaborative opportunities for all members.
